A Headful
A Headful started as a non-sequential webcomic released, usually, thrice weekly. A creative portrayal of the thoughts that fill my head, often times inspired by real life occurrences. The web comics are really just an innocent platform from which to make fun of my loved ones. They have since been supplemented with additional experiences professional and personal in the form of different branches of the original comic. These experiences have been, not always very succinctly, summarized for the benefit of anyone who might stumble upon them and find them useful. This is A Headful after all so let’s see what a head can be full of.

WE love to create. Not just make things but inspire and practice creativity. As such A Headful creator Jim Ramos pursues a pastime as a wood worker and enjoys making a variety of things. Here we go over what we make and give plans and advice so others can learn and possibility recreate some of the items themselves.
Unabridged Scholar
A Headful’s Unabridged Scholar is an advice center focused on guiding students to be successful scholars. This is done through the creation of easily digestible information by our professional educators and individuals that spent many years as a student. We believe that everyone has the ability to advance their future. One tool that can be used to do so is education, though not everyone is prepared to be a student. To help with this preparation we discuss topics, drawing on research and professional experience, to help students make the necessary changes and find the focus to becoming a standout student. Bookworm Comics
A Headful’s Bookworm Comics follow the student lives of two student bookworms, Ulysess and Sally. We also peak in on the teacher’s life of two of their teachers, Prof. Wormdriguez and Prof. McWormly.
Science Stuff
With a strong background in math and science we want to share ideas and topics in ways that others can understand. We have summarized our knowledge on topics that we are comfortable with.

Author
Jim Ramos, Ph.D. works on this comic, when he is able to. He sometimes interacts with real people, of which he loves some. He also has a real job, that he also loves. But mostly he is staring off at the horizon, trying to decide if the fart he is holding in will be silent or not. Is it worth risking…
Jim has over seven years of experience as a university Academic Program Director, Associate Dean and Professor in higher education. He has gained expertise in helping students succeed from enrollment through graduation and employment seeking. As the director of general education courses, Jim has helped students make the exciting transition from whatever they were doing before to being a student in higher education. He has regularly taught first term courses and works with students as hands-on as possible.
Jim earned a B.S. in Bioengineering from Rice University and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University. In his doctoral work he explored applications of nanoparticles as multi-modal gene delivery and imaging platforms.
